Title: Drabble Spectacular, December 30th
Rating: PG13
Series: G1
Summary: Drabbles concerning Hound and Mirage, based on the word of the day from Merriam-Webster.
Warnings: None
Disclaimer: As per usual, the good things in life are not mine to have, but belong to someone else... in this case Hasbro, Takara and IDW and anyone else I’ve forgotten…
Authors Notes: I'm mad... I must be mad. This is written for the
houndxmirage Three's a Charm challenge. I shall be attempting a drabble (100 words) every day. Feel free to poke me (gently) if I miss a day? And this does have mod approval :)
Feedback makes friends. Flames dealt with by the masters of paranoia and fire, Red Alert and Inferno.
December 30 – mahatma
“I believe in him.”
“I am not doubting that. I just want to know why exactly.”
“Why? His ideals and plans make sense and don’t cause senseless destruction. He’s like the mahatma of the Cybertronian race.”
“He’s hardly Primus.” Mirage snorted.
“Well of course not.” Hound agreed amicably. “But he’s still worth following. I believe in him and I trust him.”
“With your life?” Mirage almost sounded scornful, if it weren’t for the note of awe in his voice.
“With my life.” Hound nodded. It sounded melodramatic, but it was true. Hound believed that Optimus Prime would win this war.
