flarn_fanfic said how she wished someone was doing something similar for

redxinferno. And I’m easily suggestible when it comes to that pairing. So I shall be attempting a drabble (100 words) every day. Feel free to poke me (gently) if I miss a day?

December 01 – palingenesis
It was the social palingenesis of his family that gave him the opportunity to meet Red Alert for the first time. Since their income had increased, they were elevated to the status of nobles, even if they weren’t nobly born.
“My name’s Inferno.” He gave a small bow to Red Alert.
“Red Alert. I haven’t seen you around here before.” The smaller mech glanced around.
“Nah, it’s meh first time here.” There was something about Inferno’s honesty that appealed to Red Alert.
“Would you let me show you around then?”
“I’d like that.” Inferno grinned. “I’d like that very much.”
