flarn_fanfic said how she wished someone was doing something similar for redxinferno. And I’m easily suggestible when it comes to that pairing. So I shall be attempting a drabble (100 words) every day. Feel free to poke me (gently) if I miss a day?

December 07 – estivate
It wasn’t surprising, given their history and function that they were sent to estivate with the fire department. The hot, dry weather of the summer would give rise to wild fires, tearing across the landscape and destroying everything in their path. The human firefighters could barely contain the fires, let alone stop them. Hopefully, with Red Alert and Inferno’s help, they could do better this summer; no one was going to die, no properties were going to be burnt to the ground. Not if the Autobots could help it. And Red Alert and Inferno were determined to make a difference.
