Authors Notes: It’s official – I am mad.  Having started the houndxmirage Three's a Charm challenge, flarn_fanfic said how she wished someone was doing something similar for redxinferno.  And I’m easily suggestible when it comes to that pairing.  So I shall be attempting a drabble (100 words) every day.  Feel free to poke me (gently) if I miss a day?

November 14 – emend
There was nothing more Red Alert could do to emend the security systems.  He’d been over them with a fine toothcomb, probing every single line of coding, every single camera and connection until he was finally convinced it was working perfectly.
“All done, Red?” Inferno asked, leaning against the door and watching Red Alert work on finishing his report.
“Yes.”
“Good.  That means I get ta take ya outta here and treat ya to dinner.”
“You don’t have to do anything, Inferno.”
“Do too.” Red Alert shook his head.  He’d learnt that it was best not to argue with Inferno.
