Title: Drabble Spectacular, November 8th
Rating: PG13
Series: G1
Summary: Drabbles concerning Hound and Mirage, based on the word of the day from Merriam-Webster.
Warnings: None
Disclaimer: As per usual, the good things in life are not mine to have, but belong to someone else... in this case Hasbro, Takara and IDW and anyone else I’ve forgotten…
Authors Notes: I'm mad... I must be mad. This is written for the
houndxmirage Three's a Charm challenge. I shall be attempting a drabble (100 words) every day. Feel free to poke me (gently) if I miss a day? And this does have mod approval :)
Feedback makes friends. Flames dealt with by the masters of paranoia and fire, Red Alert and Inferno.
November 8 – ineluctable
Hound thought it was an ineluctable fact that he would end up falling for Mirage the first time he met the mech. He was everything that Hound wasn’t; lithe, elegant and noble and Hound felt clumsy and far too common around Mirage. But Mirage never treated him like he was common. He’d spent all his life being looked down on because of his origins. But Mirage didn’t look down on him. And Hound didn’t treat Mirage like a noble. They both appreciated the way the other didn’t take their status into account, just accepting them for the mech they were.
