flarn_fanfic said how she wished someone was doing something similar for redxinferno. And I’m easily suggestible when it comes to that pairing. So I shall be attempting a drabble (100 words) every day. Feel free to poke me (gently) if I miss a day?

November 03 – hyperbolic
While Red Alert was paranoid and extremely security conscious, he wasn’t prone to having a hyperbolic reaction. Others might say he was over-exaggerating the risks and danger, but he wasn’t. As far as he was concerned, he was doing his job, keeping everyone as safe as they could be.
And it seemed to be Inferno’s job to keep Red Alert from working himself into exhaustion. And of course to deny all the accusations normally brought against the security director. If Red Alert knew half of the accusations flung his way, he would be far more paranoid than he was already.
