Title: Drabble Spectacular, November 17th
Rating: PG13
Series: G1
Summary: Drabbles concerning Hound and Mirage, based on the word of the day from Merriam-Webster.
Warnings: None
Disclaimer: As per usual, the good things in life are not mine to have, but belong to someone else... in this case Hasbro, Takara and IDW and anyone else I’ve forgotten…
Authors Notes: I'm mad... I must be mad. This is written for the
houndxmirage Three's a Charm challenge. I shall be attempting a drabble (100 words) every day. Feel free to poke me (gently) if I miss a day? And this does have mod approval :)
Feedback makes friends. Flames dealt with by the masters of paranoia and fire, Red Alert and Inferno.
November 17 – banausic
The first time Hound invited Mirage back to his quarters, he was nervous. Mirage had never been in a commoner’s quarters before, he’d admitted that much and didn’t know what to expect. Mirage stepped through the door after Hound, looking around at the banausic instruments of Hound’s trade, fingers dancing over holographic frames containing images of places he’d been, while Hound gathered some energon for the both of them.
“The Medusa cascade.” He answered Mirage’s unasked question and handed a cube to the noble.
“It’s beautiful.” He breathed, and Hound wasn’t sure whether he meant the picture, or his quarters.
