Ravage couldn’t help the way he looked up to the other cassettecon.  It didn’t seem to matter that Steeljaw was an Autobot, only that Ravage wanted to be near him, to bask in his presence.  Ravage adored Steeljaw, it was that simple.

Looking back, he might say it started when Steeljaw ‘rescued’ him from the bolthole he’d found.  The firefight had raged long and hard.  He’d been injured; one leg virtually useless thanks to a lucky shot from that psychotic medic.  How First Aid managed to shoot straight as drugged up as he was, Ravage still couldn’t fathom.  But he’d managed it, and Ravage had sought shelter until the battle was over and Soundwave could recover him.

The battle had ended, and there was no sign of Soundwave.  Ravage crouched at the back of the cave, optics focussed on the entrance.  Soundwave would come for him.

But he didn’t.  Steeljaw did.

“Now now now, what do we have here?” Despite his reputation of laziness, Steeljaw was anything but as he dragged Ravage from the cave.
“Lol, I’m Ravage.” Steeljaw just shook his head, jostling Ravage in the process.
“Why you hurts me?” Ravage yelped, struggling in Steeljaw’s grip.
“Just be quiet.  I’m rescuing you.” Steeljaw snarled, traipsing across the battlefield to deposit Ravage at Blaster’s feet.
“Mah hero.”
