Rating: PG-13, it’s all vague
Series: G1
Pairings: Thundercracker/Skywarp
Summary: Skywarp joins the Decepticons.  Thundercracker isn’t so sure…
Warnings: Vague references to interfacing.
Disclaimer: As per usual, the good things in life are not mine to have, but belong to someone else... in this case Hasbro, Takara and IDW and anyone else I’ve forgotten…
Authors Notes: For the [livejournal.com profile] tfic_contest  2010 holiday ficlet exchange.  Prompt was ‘in this together’.  And I wanted to make my asterisks dirty like [livejournal.com profile] caia_comica’s, but it didn’t quite work.
Feedback makes friends.  Flames dealt with by the masters of paranoia and fire, Red Alert and Inferno.

"I don’t know what else to say ‘Warp.”
“There’s not much you can say is there?  If you don’t want to join, you don’t have to join.” Skywarp folded his arms over his cockpit, staring down at his lover.
“I just don’t see why you want to join the Decepticons, ‘Warp.” Thundercracker sighed.  He had held out some hope that they could avoid taking sides in the war, but as soon as Skywarp had walked through the door, proudly displaying his new Decepticon brands, he knew they couldn’t.
“I’ve told you my reasons.” Thundercracker could see he wasn’t going to get anywhere with Skywarp being as defensive as he was.
“Besides, we could find our third there.” He said hopefully, trying to persuade Thundercracker.  They’d spent ages trying to find their third, the last member of their trine, but everyone they met just wasn’t compatible with them.
“We could…” Thundercracker replied doubtfully.
“Oh come on TC.” Skywarp knelt down in front of Thundercracker, resting his hands on the other’s knees.  “Just think about it.  You and me, ruling the skies.  I hear Megatron is trying to gather all the Seekers to him.  And you know we’re good.  We could be the best.”
“We could…” Thundercracker just repeated.
“Think about it, please?” Skywarp leant forward, pressing a kiss to Thundercracker’s lips.  He got a slight nod in return and smiled, kissing Thundercracker again.

Fingers danced over wings, tweaking ailerons and flaps, creating moans and groans of pleasure.  They writhed against one another, no longer caring about paint transfer or the scrape of metal against metal.  All they cared about was reaching their mutual overload.

Which they did with a sharp cry and a release of energy, plating crackling as they both came down from the high.

“Well?”
“You so did not just ask me that now, ‘Warp.”
“Yeah… but still, have you thought about it?” There was little apology in Skywarp’s voice.
“You know I should throw you out of the berth for this, don’t you?”
“Yeah.  Just answer the question, TC.”
“All right, I’ll join up.  We’re in this together, always were, and always have been.”
“Good.” Skywarp snuggled down against Thundercracker’s side.  “Didn’t want to lose you.” As Skywarp drifted in to recharge, Thundercracker spent a moment listening to his idling engine, lamenting the loss of whatever freedom he had.  He only hoped that they had made the right decision.
