Rating: PG-13
Series: G1
Pairings/Prompt: G1: Prowl/Smokescreen – trick – it's your fault!
Warnings: None
Disclaimer: As per usual, the good things in life are not mine to have, but belong to someone else... in this case Hasbro, Takara and IDW and anyone else I’ve forgotten…
Authors Notes: I had fun doing the prowlxjazz Anniversary Challenge, if no one else enjoyed reading them. So when tf_rare_pairing announced their October challenge, I thought I might try something similar. Though this is going to be different as I have to write on a daily basis again. But that was fun when I did it before (both times). So yeah… wish the ever-more-eccentric one luck?

“It’s your fault.”
“How is it my fault?”
“If you had just let me talk to them….”
“Let you talk to them?”
“Yes, frag… if I could have just said something, anything, we might not be here!” Smokescreen stared at Prowl, arms folded over his chest.
“But I…”
“But nothing Prowl.  You’re the reason we’re in this fragging situation, and you’d better damned well find a way out of this.”
“Lemme guess… you’re not sure how to?” Smokescreen vented a sigh as Prowl nodded meekly.  “It’s a damned good reason I love you, Prowl.”

“You owe me.”
“I do, thank you.” Prowl leant into his embrace with Smokescreen.  “Though I’m still not entirely sure how you managed to get us out of that situation.”
“Probably best not to ask that.” Smokescreen kissed the center of Prowl’s chevron.  “Best not to know.”
“What I don’t know doesn’t hurt me?”
