Rating: PG-13
Series: G1
Pairings/Prompt: G1: Prowl/Sunstreaker – treat – kittens and puppies
Warnings: None
Disclaimer: As per usual, the good things in life are not mine to have, but belong to someone else... in this case Hasbro, Takara and IDW and anyone else I’ve forgotten…
Authors Notes: I had fun doing the prowlxjazz Anniversary Challenge, if no one else enjoyed reading them. So when tf_rare_pairing announced their October challenge, I thought I might try something similar. Though this is going to be different as I have to write on a daily basis again. But that was fun when I did it before (both times). So yeah… wish the ever-more-eccentric one luck?
Feedback makes friends. Flames dealt with by the masters of paranoia and fire, Red Alert and Inferno

“What are these doing in my office?”
“Don’t ask me.” Sunstreaker retorted.  “And I don’t think it’s Sideswipe either.  Not felt anything from him.”
“Huh.” Prowl stared at the small pile of kittens on his office desk.  “Then why have I got kittens on my desk?” His optics flickered, and Sunstreaker frowned, one arm moving to support Prowl by his elbow, ready if the tactician crashed.
“I have no idea…” Sunstreaker shook his head.  When he realised that Prowl actually wasn’t going to crash, Sunstreaker stepped forward to examine the kittens.
“They’re not that old.” He murmured.
“How do you even…?” Prowl stuttered, dropping down into his chair and staring at the kittens.
“Chip.” Sunstreaker shrugged.  He’d struck up an unlikely friendship with the young engineer.  “His cat had kittens, and he sent me the photos.”
“But how…” Prowl shook his head.
“I don’t know.” Sunstreaker moved around to rest his hands on Prowl’s doorwings, providing a distraction for Prowl.  “Maybe Red Alert has some clue?”

Just as he spoke, a small tabby cat jumped up onto his desk and stared at them before checking on her kittens.
“Well, I think we just found the source.” Sunstreaker murmured, thumbs stroking small circles on Prowl’s doorwings.
“And I think perhaps we should not inform Red Alert?” Prowl tipped his head back to look at Sunstreaker.
“Point.” Sunstreaker nodded.  “He’d freak about an intruder.” He kissed Prowl’s helm.  “Does this mean we can keep them?”
“I think perhaps that she’s keeping us.” Prowl observed as the tabby cat settled herself down on his desk.
