Title: Drabble Spectacular, November 15th

houndxmirage Three's a Charm challenge. I shall be attempting a drabble (100 words) every day. Feel free to poke me (gently) if I miss a day? And this does have mod approval :)

November 15 – paladin
As pet nicknames went, Mirage had to admit that he had one of the better ones. He’d heard Sideswipe’s pet name for Bluestreak and he was glad that Hound had decided not to go down the simperingly sickening route. On the whole, ‘paladin’ was quite accurate, especially given his position in the Autobot army now.
“How’s my precious paladin today?” Hound murmured, wrapping his arms around Mirage. To his credit, Mirage didn’t stiffen at the term of endearment, instead relaxing against Hound. There had been a time when he thought that Hound wasn’t being sincere. But he knew better now.
