flarn_fanfic said how she wished someone was doing something similar for redxinferno. And I’m easily suggestible when it comes to that pairing. So I shall be attempting a drabble (100 words) every day. Feel free to poke me (gently) if I miss a day?

December 02 – tristful
He watched Inferno’s tristful form standing in front of a statue. He could see the Autobot symbol, but not whose name was on the plaque.
“Ah, Red, why’d ya hafta go an’ do it.” He heard Inferno murmur. Surprised, he stepped forward and reached out to place his hand on Inferno’s arm. But his hand went straight through. Inferno shivered at the not-there touch.
“Heh, ya got me paranoid now, Red.” He murmured to the statue, resting his hand on it before turning and leaving. Red Alert could do nothing but watch, all too aware now of what had happened.
